Sheep Feed-to-Meat Ratio Measurement System WL-CD-Y03

This system is an intelligent management device for meat sheep farming, capable of automatically collecting data on individual sheep’s single feeding intake, daily feeding frequency, daily feed intake, daily body weight, feeding time, daily weight gain, daily and periodic feed-to-meat ratios, and group feed-to-meat ratios. These metrics are processed and managed by computer, providing decision-making support for feed formula validation and the selection of superior replacement ewes. A single unit manages 5–8 sheep, compatible with total mixed rations or complete feed pellets, supporting both feed spreaders and manual feeding. When sheep wearing electronic ear tags feed, the system automatically records the tag ID, current body weight, trough weight before feeding, and start time. After the sheep leaves, it automatically calculates the current and daily feed intake, derives daily weight gain using a median algorithm, and tallies total feed intake at the end of the fattening period. Leveraging precise data and intelligent management, it empowers precision and efficient operations in meat sheep farming.
